BSEB Class 10 Scholarship Registration Deadline Extended to September 15

BSEB extends Class 10 scholarship registration, students can apply till September 15.

The Bihar Education Department has extended the registration deadline for BSEB Class 10 scholarship and incentive schemes to September 15, 2025. Eligible students of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) now have additional time to apply through the official portal, medhasoft.bihar.gov.in.

Students who secured first division in Class 10 board exams in 2022, 2023, or 2024 are eligible to apply. In addition, SC/ST students who passed with a second division can also register.

Once the verification process is completed, applicants will receive a User ID and password on their registered mobile number and email, enabling them to log in and complete the application process.

The extended registration covers several government scholarship schemes, including:

• Chief Minister Girl Child Incentive Scheme

• Chief Minister Student Incentive Scheme

• Chief Minister Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class Merit Scholarship

• Chief Minister Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Merit Scholarship

  
  

Earlier, lists of eligible candidates were uploaded on the MedhaSoft portal developed by NIC. However, a recent review found that many students had not yet completed their registration on the eKalyan portal, prompting the extension.

The scholarships aim to provide financial assistance and promote higher education opportunities for deserving students across the state. With the deadline now extended, students are encouraged to complete their registrations promptly to secure benefits under these schemes.
